Commission Expands Funding For Solar Energy Projects

The New York State Public Service Commission expands funding for solar energy projects - residential solar projects are boosted, clean energy jobs are created.

The Commission set aside $15.6 million from its Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) program to continue funding of the statewide solar photovoltaic (PV) program. This was in response to increased demand and changing market needs for this important renewable energy technology.
