Instrumental in the development of the Con Edison Business Incentive Rate (BIR), for the non-profit biomedical industry, as well as the Lower Manhattan Energy Program and other economic development projects, Luthin Associates has been an integral part of creating enormous savings for clients in the New York area. We also played a key role in negotiating the renewal of the Power for Jobs program and we are actively involved in developing future economic incentive programs. Over the past eight years, Luthin Associates has helped our clients receive more than $34,600,000 in economic development benefits.
Not only is Luthin Associates a NYSERDA Flextech contractor, but we are also an active participant in assisting our clients in accessing NYSERDA programs including technical assistance and energy conservation rebates. Some of our clients hire us just to ensure they receive the maximum rebate from the appropriate agency or program. We also have extensive experience in managing new construction projects with NYSERDA.
Luthin Associates is an active participant in renegotiating utility rates. We have been successful in obtaining rebates or rate reductions for conversions from oil to natural gas or in retaining steam cooling capacity.
